No these are not your 'World War 2 started September 1st 1939' facts. These are your 'who the heck killed himself but failed to do so' facts. And did you even know which famous dictator failed to commit suicide? Yes there was one. So hope you're interested in these facts. Trust me, you'll be laughing your head off after these.
Number 5.
So getting back on the topic on who did try to kill himself and failed to do so. Well it was Hideki Tojo, head figure of the Japanese during World War 2. Instead of facing hard facts like a man when Japan lost the war, he tried to kill himself which is very honorable and manly according to Japanese at the time. And instead of being a man and stabbing himself and disemboweling himself as prescribed by Samurais he became less of a man by shooting himself instead. He was heard mutterring these words after he shot himself and the Americans came in, "I am very sorry it is taking so long for me to die...I wished to commit suicide but sometimes that fails." Are you seeing the unmanliness of this act that he committed? But in the end he did fess' up for his crimes so that sort of made up for this...sort of.
Number 4.
In number four we have General Thomas 'Stonewall' Jackson. Why is he on this list? Well other then being known for his horsemanship, which is totally uninteresting enough to make it to this list, he is also known for sucking lemons and sleeping off anywhere. He even slept on his horse! It's about as dangerous as sleeping on a motor bike, but due to his awesomeness he never fell off once!
Number 3.
We have the heights of America's presidents. It's well known that Abraham Lincoln is the tallest president, but few knows that James Madison is the shortest. And if we're being all illuminati and conspirator like James Madison was the fourth president, and Lincoln was the sixteenth. Four times four equals? Sixteen, exactly. President Bill Clinton has the same height as George Washington which makes him a plus plus.
Number 2.
The Dutch didn't have any tanks during World War 2. Of course like all good people they saw the need arise and ordered some from any country in the world which was Poland. Funny story the Polish was said to have fought off the Germans with horses and pikes during the initial German assault. So where was this one tank when they really needed it? Well it was probably being sent to the Dutch and got stuck on the marshes and dikes.
Number 1.
Another troll for Hideki Tojo is just around the corner. Since he failed to commit suicide Tojo was brought to prison waiting for a tribunal by the victors. Americans gave the poor guy new dentures because they want him to be able to have a full set of teeth when they take a picture of him smiling with the noose around his neck. Of course nobody ever told him that the phrase 'Remember Pearl Harbor' was drilled in morse code on that false tooth. So when he bit down on his last meal that bitter taste that reeked of oil and blood was probably his false tooth giving him imaginary messages.
