Fly

Have I ever told you that I was a little bit poetic? No, I suppose not. Well here's one of my finer poems. Please do enjoy and give your input on it.


FLY

I wish I could fly

Fly away off the ground

Away from the sadness

Away from the pain

To leave my body behind

And bask in the glow of the moon

To leave my troubles behind

And enjoy the vastness of the universe

My world is full of suffering

Oh how I wish to escape them

To get lost amongst the stars

To dance with the comets

And maybe you’d join me

And together we’d fly through the night

Nothing could stop us

Oh how I wish I could fly
