First you need a place, so open that up and we'll get started.
Ok now add a brick, and change its dimensions to '1, 2, 1'. Name it 'Left Leg'. Now copy that part and put it on the right of the first brick, but name this part 'Right Leg'. If you haven't figured it out yet these are the legs.
Alright, stick with me here. Copy one of the legs and stretch it so it covers both of the legs lengthwise, name it 'Torso'. Copy one of the legs and put it on either side of the Torso and name it 'Right Arm' or 'Left Arm' depending on their position. Next copy the Torso, make the height go down one and name it 'Head'. Confused? So am I, refer to the diagram below.
Okay now that we've got our body done we need to group it. Do so and add a Humanoid object into it. Oh right, while you're at it also add the Special Mesh to the Head. And don't forget to change the mesh scale to 1.25, 1.25, 1.25.
Yay you got yourself a Robloxian. Now add clothes to him and a face. To add clothing just add the pants or shirt object to the model. In the properties of the Shirt, paste this link into it: http://www.roblox.com/asset/?id=82899034. That should give you this trench coat. For the Pants paste this link: http://www.roblox.com/asset/?id=86687652. Want to add your own set of clothing? Here's how. Open a clothing on browser. See those numbers at the end? Well copy and paste that number, but remember to subtract one from the end. So if it was 86687653 turn it into 86687652 in the Pants.
Yay you did it. Now you've got a grey Robloxian. How to change the skin color? Add the Skin object from Basic Objects, then you can change which color you want from the properties.
Your Robloxian is still lacking a face. Go to the toolbox, search for decals, and search face. Any of those will do, stick them on the portion of the head you want to have a face.
To be continued in part 2.
