How did I start with Warhammer 40K?

So I started a Dark Angels army a few months ago. I started with a tactical squad that I saw on eBay with a good price while I was looking for new models to work on. I brought the model and found that there's a game that goes with it. And from that point on I started building my army.

What started off as a 10 men squad quickly grew into a Typhoon Landspeeder, a flamer squad, a librarian, and a company master.

And thus was the beginnings of my adventures (and misadventures) in the Warhammer 40K world.
